Tournament Directors may wish to ask for a shirt size, food allergy, lunch or dinner option, etc during player registration. One custom question may be added to the registration process by the Tournament Director. Players' responses to the custom question can be found in the Players Tab within Serve Tennis.
Note: A Tournament Director can add a custom question at any time up until registration closes. All players will be asked this question during the registration process. If you add a custom question after a player has already registered, they won't be asked the question.
To add a custom question, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: From within the Tournament Module in the admin area, select the desired tournament and then click the settings tab.
Step 2: Scroll down to "Ask additional registration question", now tick yes.
Step 3: Input Question Title, Description and Options, and Hint text.
HINT text: This field allows you to provide examples of the type of information you're expecting players to input e.g. for T-shirts this might be small, medium or large.
Only the following punctuation is allowed in your hint: . (period) , (comma) ' (single quote ) or - (dash)
Step 4: Click save.
To view players' answers:
In the Players tab, click More Columns to the right and check ANSWERS. This will now display a column with the answer that each player has given. You will not be able to edit this information here, however, if you download the CSV you will be able to edit it in excel. Downloading Player Lists in Tournaments
