During the planning stage, you are able to edit the tournament you are creating. The Tournaments in the Planning stage are indicated under the Status header on the tournament list.
In order to do this; open up the Tournament Module in your Serve Tennis Account. You will be presented with a list of all your active tournaments. The Tournaments with 'Planning' indicated under the 'Status' header, are able to be edited:
Once you select the tournament you are looking to edit, you will be presented with a new screen that displays details of the tournament and a list of the events. If you are looking to edit the details of the tournament, such as the name, dates, etc. select 'Edit tournament' and adjust the data as required:
If you are looking to edit specific event(s) within the tournament, simply select the three dots on the right side of the screen, under 'Actions', for the event you are looking to edit. Then simply click 'Edit' from the display which appears when you click the dots. Then edit the event as required:
Please note: Once a tournament has been submitted for sanctioning approval, you are not able to make edits to the events and rules and pricing. You will still be able to edit the Web Info (tournament webpage).
If you need to make an edit, you must contact your Section/National Tournament Contact. Section/District staff will be able to edit the tournament as long as it is not open for registration or if it is open for registration, as long as no one has registered it yet. After tournament registrations open, USTA admins cannot:
- Make an event free or change the price of the event
- Change the ball color of the event

Make changes to the Rules & Pricing Tab
- Allow registration in different age groups
- Maximum number of events allowed to register
- Offer discounts for multiple entries
- Add or remove a tournament waiver
After tournament selections are made, USTA admins cannot:
- Change the entry limit for an event
- Change the number of wild cards for an event
- Change the player selection
