Q. How is the National Standings list calculated?
- 100% of the singles ranking points from a players’ 6 best Junior Ranking Tournaments.
- 15% of the ranking points from a player’s best 6 doubles and/or mixed doubles Junior Ranking Tournaments played.
- Ranking Points earned in an older age division tournament count towards a player’s standing in one or more younger age divisions provided that a Junior Ranking Tournament has been played in the division and they are among the player’s best 6 results.
- 20% of the Ranking Points earned in a younger age division tournament count towards a player’s standing in the next-older age division if they are among the player’s best 6 results, regardless of whether a Junior Ranking Tournament has been played in that division.

Q. Is there a new points table for 2024 Junior tournaments?
There is no new points table for 2024 Junior tournaments. Tournaments will continue to use the 2023 Points table which can be found here.
Q. How are ranking points assigned to a junior player?
Juniors who play USTA Level 1 through 7 tournaments are assigned ranking points. To learn more about this process, please click here to watch a brief video.
Q. How are bonus points added for a Junior Player?
Bonus Points are attached to the tournament at which they are earned. If a tournament total is not among a player’s best six tournaments, neither the Points Per Round nor the Bonus Points will count toward the player’s Ranking Point total. For information on bonus points, please click here.
Q. Can you explain why my points are all in an older age division? (example) I'm 14, and I played in the 16s, but I don't see my name on the 14s list. Why is that?
Ranking Points earned in an older age division tournament count towards a player's standing in one or more younger age divisions provided that a Junior Ranking Tournament has been played in the younger division during the calculation period. These results must also be among the player's best 6 results, and a player must win a match.
To clarify, if a 14 year old ONLY played up in the 16U division during the computation period, then she/he would not appear in the 14U division national standing list.
Q. Where can I find my tournament record?
Players can now view their record in their individual Player Profiles to see how recent results are impacting their ranking. In this version of the Player Profile, only events in which a player earned rankings points are shown. Click here to find out how to view your tournament record from the Player Profile.
Q. What results are shown on the Player Profile?
The results are inclusive of events held over the past 52 weeks. Only events in which a player earned ranking points are shown.

Q. Why don't I see any results on the Player Profile?
New players, and those players who have not played a junior tournament in the past 52 weeks will show "No Results."

Q. How do I filter out my Section National Standings?
All standing and ranking lists are now ONE National Standing List. To find your placement on a Section list, the National list can be filtered by Section/District by using the drop-down menu. The system will return a list of players based on your filter selections in accordance with rank.
Q. When is the next publication of the National Standings Lists scheduled for?
The National Standings Lists will be published on a weekly basis, with publication occurring on Wednesdays. Please continue to check this page for updates.
