Below is a list of our frequently asked questions regarding the role of a USTA Official. 

Is there an age minimum for becoming a USTA official?

Why is Safe Play not showing on OfficialFirst?  

If you have completed your Safe Play compliance but it isn't appearing in your OfficialsFirst account, it's likely due to an email mismatch.

The USTA Safe Play system uses your email address to sync with OfficialsFirst. To resolve this, please follow these steps:

1. Check Your Email Addresses: Verify that the email address you use on usta.com for Safe Play is identical to the one on your OfficialsFirst account.
2. Update an Email Address: If the emails don't match, update one of them to ensure both accounts use the same address.
3. Allow Time to Sync: Once the email addresses match, your compliance status will sync automatically, usually overnight.

If your Safe Play status still doesn't appear after 24 hours, please contact us for further assistance.
