For USTA sanctioned events, if you need to add an additional event to your tournament after your event has been approved you will first have to get in touch with your USTA section/district staff and request to add the event to your tournament. A common reason for this may be that you don't have enough players for an event. The example below, the TD wishes to run a Men's 35 & over open doubles event.
First, request the event is added by your section and district staff. Once the event is added and showing in Serve Tennis, launch tournament desk.
On the participant's tab navigate to Players and click on “Synchronize tournament” in the upper right-hand corner.
After clicking this button you will see the new event in the events tab
You will then be able to add the players into that event from the participants tab.
To do this, open the participants tab again, choose the player that you wish to add to the new event and select the three dots by their name in the action column.
Select Add to event and select the event from the drop down and click confirm. The player will then be added into the alternates list for that event. You will need to do this manually for all players.
Once you have selected all the players, you can then continue to create the draw as you would.
