At present it is not possible to refund a payment made online via Stripe for a membership package. However, this feature is coming in 2024.
NOTE: Marking a membership as refunded WILL NOT refund the member via Stripe. You would need to refund them offline, via check or bank transfer.
In Serve Tennis you can mark a membership package as refunded for future reference.
To mark a membership refunded you follow the following steps.
Step One: Open the membership module, select the package and member you wish to mark as refunded.
Step Two: In the payments tab, click on Edit
Step Three: This will allow you to change the status from Paid to Refunded in the drop down.
It will then change the amount paid to $0 and status Not Paid. It is important that the Status has not changed. So you will need to go in and mark the status to Canceled if necessary.
To Mark as Partially Refunded
There may be a need to partially refund a membership package. You can do this by following the above steps.
However, once you marked as refunded, you can then Add Payment and edit the amount paid and saved. If the payment is a partial payment of the FULL membership cost, it will show as Part Paid. However, as long as their membership status is ACTIVE this will still allow them to use the membership as needed.
