The Safe Play approval will affect all junior events, programming courses and sessions that you create.
In order to have your programs displayed online so users can view and register on them, you must have a Safe Play approved coached assigned.
When creating a program, within the session defaults you will need to assign a Lead Coach, if you select a coach that is not Safe Play approved then the event will not appear online. The prompts shown below will indicate the Safe Play status of the selected coach, and where appropriate, when their approval expires.
You will be able to save your event but there will be a warning message at the top of your screen advising you that the program will remain hidden. Each session will also be displayed in the course status as "Restricted":
For programs to appear publicly and be available for registrations the coach assigned must be approved and have an expiry date after the end date of the last session.
Note: The coach will need to be Safe Play approved for the entire duration of the program. i.e. if their Safe Play status expires on the 15th of June, and the program runs from 1st June - 30th June, only the sessions where the status is active will be available.
All coaches listed on these programs must be Safe Play approved. i.e. if you add an assistant coach who is not Safe Play approved it will also show as restricted.
