Both Mentors and Mentees must be 18+, Safe Play approved, hold a Rally level package or above, be in good standing, and complete a 1-hour training session.
Requirements for Mentees
- Minimum age of 18+
- Currently hold a Rally, Pro or Pro Plus package with USTA Coaching and be in good standing (Safe Play).
- Commitment to active engagement in the tennis mentorship process.
- Willingness to meet regularly and pursue defined coaching development goals.
- Openness to professional feedback and continuous learning in tennis coaching.
- All mentees are required to watch a training video.
- Mentees complete an Interest Assessment to be matched with a mentor.
Requirements for Mentors
- Minimum age of 18+.
- Currently hold a Rally, Pro or Pro Plus package with USTA Coaching and be in good standing (Safe Play).
- Minimum 7 years of active tennis coaching experience.
- Completion of USTA Coaching education courses (Professional level or higher preferred) or equivalent certification for another organization.
- Commitment to meet regularly with mentees.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive tennis coaching community.
- All mentors are required to watch a training video.
- Mentors complete an Interest Assessment to be matched with a mentee.
