Processing a refund through Serve Tennis couldn't be easier.
If they paid online, you can process the refund directly through Serve Tennis which will automatically send the funds to the participant, you don't need to do anything through Stripe.
For any registration fees collected offline, the refund can be recorded in Serve Tennis which will automatically update the player's status.
To refund a participant, firstly, select 'Leagues' from within your admin area.
This will take you to a list of your leagues, they are split under the following headings:
Once you have found and selected the league, the following page will be a list of participants that have registered, these can be viewed under 5 separate headings:
When you have found the participant, select anywhere on the contact row, this will open their details. You will be able to see their 'Payments & refunds' history:
If you select 'Refund' the following overlay will appear:
You have the option refund the participant through Stripe, alternatively, if you are refunding them offline ie. cash, then you can select 'record a refund'. You can also edit the amount that you wish to refund.
If the original payment was taken by cash or check when you process the refund the option to refund via Stripe will not appear. You will have the option to record the refund as cash or check:
Once you have completed the information select 'I want to confirm I want to process the refund.' and 'confirm'.
You will then return to the participants summary, the players status will update to 'Canceled' and the payment status will update to 'Not Paid':
