FAQs on Player Selections
Q. I finalized and Launched Tournament Desk and I want to add another player.
A. You can add a player after tournament selections. To do this, refer to the Manually Adding A Player to the Tournament article.
Q. Why do I have to finalize all events even though no players are in the event?
A. If you do not have any players in the event, you can delete the event before finalizing. To do this go to the events tab and click on the three dots and delete the event. This will also avoid having multiple events without draws in your Tournament Desk.
Q. I have finalized and charged my players. Why are some showing unpaid?
A. We recommend waiting 24 hours, as these statuses may change. Stripe will be trying to collect the payments, some take longer than others due to the banks, etc. Check back after 24 hours before reaching out to the participants to collect payments. We also have the guide Collecting Payouts in Stripe Express for Tournament Directors regarding payments.
Q. How do I explain the rankings/standing lists to my players?
A. We have two video guides to explain rankings you can view and share these from these guides:
Q: Why are the acceptance lists not in ranking order?
A: The public pages will show the acceptance list, they are not in ranking order, this is on purpose. Once you have created the draws, you can choose to have the seeding displayed for the players. To do this see this article: Create, Publish, Delete Draws
Q: Why is the system not allowing me to select a player?
A: If you are unable to select a player there will be a warning icon next to their name to explain the reason. This could be if
