Once you have created your event you can now manually add any participants from the admin area or invite them to register themselves. We recommend asking the parent to self register themselves, as this will link their USTA account for the player to receive playtracker points.

Select the Programming module on the left of your screen within the admin.
Select USTA Team Challenge Catagory
Select USTA Team Challenge, the following screen will be a list of the active events that you have created for Team Challenge. Select the event that you would like to add the participant too:
Scroll to the bottom of the event and direct links will show: You can copy these direct links and send them to players via emails. The parent can then use the link to register to the Team Challenge, using their USTA account. The organizer will recieve an email when they register and also when the program is fully booked.
Manually register the player(s) in Serve Tennis
NOTE: Players will only be awarded points if they have registered with the Serve Tennis account and linked their USTA ID or the Serve Tennis Administrators has added the players using the bulk upload with their USTA ID.
The attendance information numbers will be sent back to the USTA for their data on participation and award play tracker point if appropriate.
PlayTracker points are only awarded to players 10 years and under. Players 11 years and older are automatically moved to yellow ball and will no longer get play tracker points.

- Select the Programming module on the left of your screen within the admin.
- Then select USTA Team Challenge Catagory, and the team challenge.
The next screen that appears will be a list of sessions created within the event. Depending on what type of program you created, i.e. short course / recurring sesstions, select the session that you would like to add the participant too:
Now select 'Participant Options':
Then select one of the following options:
To add one participant: select Add participant and follow the below steps. To bulk add particpants see Bulk add participants
Firstly, you will need to complete the parent / guardians details, you can either enter a new contact or search for a new contact.
Now complete the junior information, again you have the same option as above, enter a new contact or search for an existing contact.
You also have the option to send the participant a booking confirmation, if selected then they will receive a confirmation email.
To invite the parent to accept the registration, you will need to click on the profile contact in the contact module, open the contact and invite contact. Sending Contacts Invitations to Register This is important if the player wishes to collect Play Tracker points for participation.
Bulk add participants
After following the above steps, select Bulk Add Participants from the Participants options drop down.
The following page will open and here you will be able to upload a CSV file of the USTA ID numbers of the particpants. In the CSV - all you need is a column of the USTA IDs. You can download an example file here (marked in red below) which will open in excel and you can edit, remove the example IDs and add the players USTA IDs.

Once you have the file correct, you then click Browse to upload the file, choose if you would like to send a confirmation email to the players (gardian/parents if under 13) and click Add Particpants.
You will then see a message confirming how many players were sucessfully added, if a USTA ID is incorrect or the player is not eligible, it will show an error and explain why they have not been added. There is a maximum upload of 50 each time.
Players details are then added to the Contacts Module within Serve Tennis, as well as the event.
Now the players are manually added into the Team Challenge Event, you will be able to send a payement request - see Request Payment for steps to do this, you can also send emails to particpants and mark their attendance - Participant Attendance.
