Within the court booking module, there is a setting to enable Guest Fees to your court booking. i.e. if a member can book the court, they can choose to bring a guest and pay a fee. One thing to note, this would require the member/player to be honest and enter the guest into the booking. Once enabled the person making the reservation will be able to make a court booking for themselves and also include details of their opponent, and pay a fee if this is enabled in the settings.

To Turn on Guest Fees
The first thing is to enable the Group Bookings. To do this, go to the court booking module - settings - Basic Setting.
In the Basic Settings - Make sure the Group Booking is enabled as below. Remember to click SAVE SETTINGS at the bottom of the page.
Setting the Price of the Guest Fees
Once the group booking is enabled, you need to set the price in the schedules. This is done in the Court Booking - Settings - Manage Schedule area.
Click on Manage Schedules. Click on the schedule you wish to edit - by clicking Manage.
The select the rule you wish to add the guest fees, if you have multiple rules you will need to edit each one individually. You have different guest prices dependent on the membership if you wish. If you do that you will need to list each membership/role individually. As the member will be offered the lowest price available to them. Remember: When making any changes to schedules you need to Save the Schedules.
How the Member pay for the Guest Fees
When making a booking, the member would first need to be logged into their Serve Tennis account to access the court booking rules set for members , when they select the correct court booking sheet the following overlay will appear:
In this example Rebecca is the logged-in user who is making the booking, to include her guest, she would then select '+ Add participant'. She can now enter the name of her player and mark them as a member or guest, and press 'Save' and 'Continue Court Booking'.
The next page will show the cost and summary of the fees and the confirm and pay button.
Note: for this facility we have a refund window of 48 hours, however, this can be changed to what you wish in the Basic Settings.
The next page will be the payment details page. And the following screen will be a confirmation page which will list details of the court booking, costs, & participants name.
Once the user is happy to proceed they can select ' Pay'.
When a participant is added to a court booking, this is a text-only field therefore, a contact record will not be generated within the Contacts listing in the admin area. The participant will not receive a confirmation email, only the contact.
