If you wish to withdraw from a tournament the following steps will outline how to do this. Online withdrawals are only allowed before entries close for a tournament, no charge will be made to your card if this done before the registration close date.
If the tournament deadline has passed contact the Tournament Director to assist you with your withdrawal and any applicable refund based upon their policy, the refund process is at the discretion of the Tournament Director. To withdraw from a tournament follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log into USTA.com with your log in if you are the player or parent/guardian account if you registered your child.
Step 2: Click on the avatar and select Profile
Step 3: Here you will be able to view your player profile including all the events upcoming and completed you are registered on under the Schedules tab. To see the schedules for players linked to their account, go to Family and click View Profile for the player you want to withdraw.
Step 4: Find the tournament you wish to withdraw from and click on the Manage button
Step 5 This will open the tournament page and will list all the events you are registered on. If you are withdrawing prior to the event registration deadline you will see the withdraw link. If you are withdrawing after the registration deadline - go to Step 8.
Step 6 Once clicked, an overlay box appears with a confirmation box. To confirm, click on the red WITHDRAW box.
You will then get a confirmation page that you have successfully withdrawn from the event and an email will be sent to you. No charge will be made on your card as you have withdrawn before the registration deadline. You must withdraw from all events individually if you wish to.
Step 7: You can then go back and view the action taken by clicking VIEW
Step 8: If you are withdrawing after the registration deadline, you will see that you can Request Withdrawal.
Step 9: Clicking on this will open the next box - where you can CONTACT the Tournament Director by clicking on the CONTACT button.
An email request form will open. You will need to enter the reason why you are requesting to withdraw from the event. Then click Send.
Once you have sent the request, you will get a confirmation screen as shown below.
and you will be able to view the request by clicking view as below;
Note: If you withdraw from an event, this can not be undone. You will need to register again for the event if you withdrew prior to the registration deadline, or contact the Tournament Director directly if you submitted a request.
