Tags are used to group your contacts, they allow you to keep track of your contact's interest. It is a great way to keep organized and they enable you to send the relevant message to the correct group at the right time.
Serve Tennis has a number of default contact tags, these will be automatically applied based on the contact's activity. If a user makes a court reservation then the 'Booking' tag will be automatically applied to their contact record.
There are a number of default tags for various USTA products, such as Team Challenge & Tennis 101. So if a contact makes a booking on one of these programs then the tag will be automatically applied to their contact record.
This is a great way to keep your contacts notified of any upcoming events or programs held at your facility. For example, if you are running a new Team Challenge event, then you can filter your contacts using the Team Challenge tag and then send an email to that group only.
To filter your contacts based on the tags, then firstly select 'Contacts' from the menu on the left of your screen within the admin area.
Within the contacts module there are various headings that you can use to filter your contacts, there is a heading called 'Tags', when you select the search field a list of your tags will appear.
A list of contacts will appear who have the tag applied to them.
You can then select all contacts within that group by placing a tick in the box to the left of the 'Unique ID' heading.
